Amelia Alberts

I decided I wanted to be a pediatrician in fifth grade, when asked to write an paragraph on my future occupation. When I took AP Biology and Physics in high school, I was even more confident I wanted a career in STEM. The laboratory experiences I gained in my undergraduate years at the University of Florida introduced me to the world of research, and that interested me as well. The leadership positions I maintained for UF organizations made me realize how much I treasure not only helping, but teaching people.
